I'm still in Austin.

Here are a few things that make Austin cool besides it's "second to none" live music scene and delicious food. It's very pet friendly. People bring their dogs with them everywhere. Also, modern architecture is popping up everywhere on the outskirts of the city.

I'm in Austin, TX

I left town own a whim wednesday for Austin, Texas. I'm here to visit my good friends Amy and Dave and to attend this years SXSW Music Festival. It's now the last day of the festival and I will say that I have seen some amazing musicians from all over the world. I got to see a couple of Mississippi bands as well - the North Mississippi Allstars and my friends from Blue Mountain. Here are some pics from this years event.

Laura and Tommy

On March 8th, Laura and Tommy were married on the Schooner Pier in Biloxi. Although the evening started off with cold 30mph winds, the night heated up as the wedding party danced around space heaters and celebrated a wonderful event. The couple enjoyed their honeymoon in Spain - how romantic! Here are some pics.

Here are some pics from the Shed last weekend. The first photo is Bryan Lee. A fabulous blues musician who was a staple on Bourbon Street for many years. He recently played on and album with Kenny Wayne Shepard along with many other blues legends. The second is more decor inside the Shed. And last but not least my niece Avari's first sink bath.
